After You Call

When you call, we ask a handful of questions before we can give you a number: is the door stuck open or shut, does the opener run but the door not move, is there a spring visibly broken, and roughly how old the door and opener are. Most homes here have doors that went in somewhere between 1971 and 2006, with the bulk from the 1980s and 90s across the named areas we cover, so a lot of what we're pricing is original torsion hardware that's outlived its rated cycle count.

A photo helps more than a long description. If you can text or email a picture of the spring, the track where it meets the rail, and the opener head, we can often tell you whether it's a straightforward swap or something that needs a look in person. Heat matters too - a Las Vegas summer runs springs and rollers harder than a mild-climate town would, so a cable or bearing that's fraying might have less life left than the same part somewhere cooler.

We won't quote a full replacement over the phone. Panel color, insulation option, and opener horsepower all change the number, and we're not going to guess at those.

The Short Version

Some jobs we can price close to exact before the truck leaves the yard: a single broken torsion spring, a snapped cable, a bent hinge, a worn roller set. Those parts are standard sizes and we know what they run.

What we can't price sight unseen: a door that's been hit and may have a bent track or bowed panel, an opener that's dead and might be the board, the motor, or just the wall switch, or any full door replacement where you're choosing size, insulation, and window style. On those, the number you get on the phone is a range, and the number we leave you with after the truck is there is the real one.

Here's the honest limit: if your door was custom-sized or built before the 1970s stock that's common in the older pockets of this area, we may need to order a part rather than carry it on the truck, and that adds lead time we can't shorten by quoting faster. We'd rather tell you that up front than promise a same-day fix we can't back up.

With 111,864 owner-occupied houses spread across a service area of roughly 353,915 households, most of what we quote is a repair on an existing door, not a new install, so plan on the phone quote covering a repair range first.

Getting Hold of Us

Call (725) 245-1729 and tell us what the door is doing. If it's easier to start with a photo, that works too - send it ahead of the call so we're not guessing on the spring size or the opener model.

Our office is at 360 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145. We work jobs from Summerlin South and Spring Valley out to Enterprise, Whitney, and Mount Charleston, and in tight around Lone Mountain, Rancho, South Shores, and Sun City Summerlin. If your street isn't in that list, call anyway and we'll tell you straight whether it's a fit.

We don't do quotes by walk-in - the shop at Rampart Blvd is the office, not a counter for looking at parts. Phone or photo first, truck second.

Good to Know

Before You Ask for a Quote

Can you give me an exact price over the phone?

For a single broken spring or cable, usually yes, close to exact. For anything involving a bent track, a dead opener board, or a full replacement, the phone number is a range and the firm price comes after we've had eyes on the door.

What information should I have ready when I call?

The door's rough age, whether it's a single or double door, what it's doing (won't open, won't close, opener runs but door doesn't move), and a photo if you can manage one. That's usually enough to start a real quote.

Do you cover my part of Las Vegas?

We work from Summerlin South and Spring Valley out to Mount Charleston, and in close around areas like Lone Mountain, Rancho, and South Shores. If you're not sure your street is in range, call and ask.

Why can't you quote a full door replacement without seeing it?

Panel style, insulation, window cutouts, and opener horsepower all change the price, and we're not going to hand you a number we can't stand behind. We'll give you a range on the phone and a firm price after we've measured.
